Ty Deschamp is a Federal Program Manager at the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), where he leads the multiple-award-winning NNSA Program Management Information System, Generation 2 (G2) project. Ty has broad experience across NNSA and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) in the areas of nuclear infrastructure and safety, nuclear nonproliferation, national security, and environmental management.
Within NNSA, he has transformed project management processes, streamlined operations, and is a staunch believer in organic change. Over the last 7 years, Ty has worked to scale the G2 project from an 8-person scrum team supporting a single customer to a 65-person high-performing agile program that now supports 6 major customers. G2 is a Major Federal IT investment and is the largest software development program in NNSA.
Ty received his B.S. in Business Information Systems from the University of Idaho, an MBA from Washington State University, and holds the following certifications: PMI-certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master (SMC), and SAFe Agilist (SA).
