Kim Hobson is a Project Manager at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) where she leads multiple IT projects and provides operational analysis for National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) initiatives. She is a seasoned PMI-certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 30 years of diverse commercial and government experience including in the intelligence community.
Kim has used her strategic insight, business acumen, and clear communication style to help organizations define business goals, build relationships, and actuate performance. She is also the Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Manager for ORNL’s Nuclear Security and Isotope Technology Division and is responsible for providing SQA guidance to Division staff as well as assessing policy compliance.
Kim provides strategic business analysis to the NNSA Program Management Information System, Generation 2 (G2) project and is a member of its leadership team. She received her B.S. in Business Administration from The University of Tennessee, earned an MBA from Trident University, and is a trained meeting facilitator. Kim is also certified in Infrastructure Technology Information Library (ITIL) Foundations and is a SAFe Agilist.
