Jim has more than 20 years experience in the software development industry with several major companies such as Weyerhaeuser, EDS, and Microsoft. Jim was fortunate to experience working in an agile team environment very early in his software development career, when he didn’t even know it was called agile. Later moving into a more traditional waterfall software development experience he discovered his passion for helping teams and organizations transform how they operate using Lean and Agile practices and mindset. His most recent experience has been in the Microsoft Supply Chain Engineering group helping to define, implement, evangelize, and train the organization in a new operating model based on the SAFe framework. He is very passionate about his work and most enjoys enabling others to overcome their cognitive biases, empowering them to think in new more efficient ways that they never knew were possible.
