Darren is constantly striving to run new experiments to try and make organisations more effective, share his thinking with the community and help others learn. His 30 years of experience in the private sector allow him to navigate the challenge and pain of transforming mindsets, cultures and long-standing operational practices.
With his strategic C-suite-oriented approach to IT leadership – and his infectious energy – Darren has successfully delivered multi-million business transformations for e-commerce sites, ERP implementations, outsourcing and off-shoring including multiple agile transformations.
Darren is an active Agile practitioner and coach, leading SAFe practice at Radtac. Darren is a SAFe Program Consultant Trainer (SPCT), one of a small number in the UK. The SPCT Certification is the highest level of certification provided by Scaled Agile.
Darren is a Chartered IT Professional and frequent contributor to local Agile Interest Groups. He is the Treasurer of BCS Kent Branch and co-founder of the Kent Scrum User Group and more recently founder of the London SAFe Meetup Group.
He is a co-author of the BCS Book “Agile Foundations – Principles Practices and Frameworks” and a reviewer of “Valuing Agile; the financial management of agile projects” and “Directing Agile Change”
